What do tattoos really mean, to some it's a symbol that means something to special ( a person or thing or a moment). Some do it because of art, some because of the simple fact that they can; to some, it's a part of their fashion. These days in some countries, you can get a tattoo at the age of 16 or 18  without adult consent. 

There are many different types of tattoo designs and tattoo artist are popping up everywhere. You can get a tattoo of any image on any part of your body including getting a tattoo on the eyeball, which we have seen recently on YouTube. The tattoo is done by inserting a needle with ink into the top layer of the skin called the dermis, the color of the ink changes the color of the skin. Now we have tattoo models and magazine design just for tattoos.

Things to consider before getting a tattoo

If you're thinking about getting a tattoo think about the health risk that is involved  with any procedure that involves a needle there is risk. Make sure you ask if the equipment have been sterilized before the tattooist start. You will be prone to infection once the needle hits your skin, the needle must break the top layer of your skin with ink to complete the image, that means your skin will bleed. If you're infected with the HIV or AIDS virus make your you tell the tattooist before you start or any other medical condition. You may also be at risk of an allergic reaction fungus, rashes, hepatitis or skin infections. The pain of removing a tattoo is a lot more than actually putting it on, and the cost is very high, the doctor uses a special laser to go over the markings, sometime not all the ink its removed and it may lead to serious skin damage and nerve damage
